News

Next stage of the world Cup, which was to be held on November 13 and 14 in Lech/Zurs (Austria) was postponed by the decision of FIS and the organizing Committee of the competition. The main reason is too warm weather and lack of snow. The next snow check will take place on November 18, 2020. The new program looks
like this:

Women

Qualification: 26.11.2020-12: 00
Parallel race: 26.11.2020-19: 45

Men
Qualification: 27.11.2020-12: 00
Parallel race: 27.11.2020-19: 50 (Moscow time)

Thus, the resumption of the Alpine skiing world Cup season will now take place in Levi (Finland), where two women’s slalom races will be held on November 21 and 22. There will be no men’s slalom in Levi this year, the first men’s slalom will be held only at the end of December in Alta Badia (Italy).

Austria is currently under quarantine, but professional athletes are allowed to prepare for the competition. Races in Austria will be held without spectators.
