Dave Riding-the most successful skier in England-surprised his fans by changing the brand of mountain skis. Next season, he will ski Dynastar, saying goodbye to the Fischer brand, with which he has achieved outstanding success in recent years. In addition to skis, Riding has also changed his ski boots – now he will represent Lange.

Ryding switched to Fischer skiing in the winter of 2013/2014, but then the season was unsuccessful for him – he never managed to get into the second attempt. The breakthrough came in the 2014/15 season, when Dave broke into the strongest group. In January 2017, the Englishman reached the podium for the first time in his career, taking second place in the classic slalom race in Kitzbuhel (Austria). Then he lost only to Marcel Hirscher.

Last season was not the best for Riding, he was five times in the top ten in the slalom (including the City Event), but never was in the winners. He was only 9th at the 2018 Olympics in Korea

However, Dave “Rocket” Riding, who since last season has been riding in a helmet with the logo of the Austrian resort of Obergurgl, proves to fans and athletes that you do not have to be born in the mountains to compete in the world Cup at the top level. At the beginning and end of the season, Dave trains on the tracks of Obergurgl (despite the absence of a glacier, the snow there lasts a very long time), and now he is already preparing for the upcoming ski world Cup in ore (Sweden), which will be held in February 2019.

Ryding is a passionate football fan, and his favorite team is Liverpool football club. He is looking forward to the Champions League final: on may 26, 2018, his beloved Reds will face real Madrid in this crucial match
